Do you want twins?
Are twins safe?
In Uganda, they have a special word that honors a woman that has carried and delivered twins… “Nalongo”. Twins are not uncommon in Uganda, in fact there are tribes that are known for carrying and delivering healthy twins. There are over 27,000 sets of twins born each year in Uganda.
Because twins are common in Uganda, medical professionals and facilities are equipped for twins and any medical issues that might arise. Their NICU facilities are equivalent to level 3 NICU in the United States.
Many women are willing to have two embryo transfers and are medically cleared to carry twins. Host Moms Uganda’s policy is no more than two embryos should be transferred at a time to lower the risk of more than twins.
If you dream of having twins, then Uganda might be the answer for you.
If you can only afford one journey. but you would prefer your child have a sibling, then twins might be the answer. Unlike in America, NICU bills are reasonable, but our first goal is to avoid NICU and have a full term twin pregnancy (at least 36 weeks).
If you are interested in a two embryo transfer, then please let us know so we can discuss the process and review the available surrogates open to a two embryo transfer.
We have Host Mothers that are ready and able to carry your twins.
