Egg Donation

Becoming an egg donor can be an exciting and rewarding process both emotionally and financially. Your gift to our intended parents does not go unnoticed. You are giving someone else the possability of a family. 

There are many couples that long for a family but they need an egg donor. Are you kind enough to help another couple achieve their dream? Becoming an egg donor is an amazing gift that lasts forever. 

As an egg donor, you will receive compensation after retrieval. All expenses including travel, medical appointments, etc. will all be covered. Being an egg donor will not cost you anything. You can choose your fee from $2,000 USD to $5,000 USD. You will meet with a mental health professional, have lab work done, an attorney will represent you during contracts. You will take injections for about 2 weeks and have ultrasounds scan to check the develpoment of your follicles. For the retrieval procedure, you will be put to sleep while your eggs are reteived through a needle. After retrieval, you can rest and then go home feeling wonderful about how you have given the potential of a family to a wonderful couple.

At Host Moms Uganda, you can choose the level of your relationship with the Recipient Parents. Some day, any resulting child may want to contact you so you can choose to have the information available once the child is 18 and asks or you can choose to be available at whatever age the child asks questions. Some donors even choose to become friends with the Recipient Parents and recieve pictures as the child grows and stay in direct contact. You decide what makes you the most comfortable.

Once you have signed your contract you will also do an ancestry DNA test so that no matter what happens the information regarding the genetic parentage of the child will be avaialble.
